Began training: Styles/Arts: Hall of Fame Award: Other Awards: Website: | Biography:Jamie Leno Zimron Sensei is a 6th Degree Aikido Black Belt, LPGA Teaching Professional, Marriage Family Therapist MFT, Master Bodyworker, Corporate Speaker, Peak Performance Trainer, and International Citizen’s Diplomat. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stanford University, she is the creator of KiAi Golf and founder of The KiAi Way Inc. She works passionately bringing Aikido’s Peaceful Power principles to people of all ages and ability levels, in all walks of life around the world. Zimron Sensei began her Aikido training in 1976, earned Shodan in 1979, and went on to establish the Women's Aikido School / Aikido Arts Center of San Francisco (1980-1994). She was a pre-founder of PAWMA in the late 1970’s, and helped introduce Aikido into the ex-Soviet Union (1987-1991). She is co-founder of the Association of Women Martial Arts Instructors (1998) and Middle East Aikido Project (2005), and helped form the Israel Women's Martial Arts Federation (1997). She has served on the Board of Aiki Extensions since 2005, working closely with Training Across Borders, Budo For Peace, Aikido Ethiopia Project, PeaceCamp Initiative, Open Source Aiki Business Associates, and AE’s new Seed Grant Program. Jamie Sensei is a senior instructor for all the major women’s martial arts organizations, and was honored in 2016 to receive the NWMAF Award of Excellence, and in 2018 the PAWMA Lifetime Achievement Award. Jamie Sensei continues to guest instruct at Aikido and other martial arts dojos, and to serve as a holistic trainer and innovative force within the golf, business and peacemaking worlds. Known for her dynamic teaching style, she generously shares a vast synthesis of knowledge and experience in all her seminars and sessions. She strives always to be an inspiring advocate for integrative approaches and inclusion, diversity and opportunity for all people to participate and to be leaders. Zimron Sensei has studied with many masters along the Way, and is esteemed worldwide for her unique ability to guide people to newfound well-being, empowerment and success. |
